Transform an insular user community conference into one with a wider appeal and broaden the reach of Actian’s Hybrid Data market.

Actian has a solid and loyal user base in the UK but has a requirement to expand their market to companies which have not yet adopted its products. A key marketing initiative is the Hybrid Data Conference, an annual event that in the past was positioned as a user conference for existing clients.

The Strategy 

Perceptible was engaged by Actian to expand the reach of the conference to a wider group of appropriate companies who were likely to be interested in the topics presented at the conference, with the aim of driving attendance as the first step of increasing awareness of Actian’s offerings, and ultimately gaining new customers.

Perceptible deployed a tailored LaunchPad offering comprising of content review, messaging and direct telephone outreach to both existing Actian customers and highly targeted companies who were likely to be interested in the event.
